If you thinking cooking is for the birds, you might like the raw foods diet where at least seventy–five percent of meals must be well, raw. The raw foods diet is be based on the idea that raw foods contain enzymes which help the body digest and absorb nutrients. Proponents of the diet believe that heating foods above one hundred and sixteen degrees destroys these vital enzymes. Of course this means that all animal products are no-no’s on the raw foods diet. In addition, anything man made or prepackaged is off limits. Fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, grains and purified water are all ok. The raw foods diet encourages weight loss, but it is also tottered for increased energy and reducing the risk of  heart diseases. Even TV icon Kerry Bradshaw and her friends got in on the raw foods diet.  Try this diet out for a little while if your bored of your normal routine and reap the benefits. With the raw foods diet, you can definitely lose weight and skip the cooking altogether.
