Dr. Merlina’s Delicious Diet Salad Dressing

Now I’m going to share with you a secret family recipe and its one of my favourites. Doctor Merlina’s salad dressing, it’s quick and it’s easy and it only has a few ingredients.  It’s important to use a low calorie salad dressing preparation, because if you use a calorie heavy dressing you are really canceling out the healthy part of the salad.

So, the first thing that we are going to do, and I’m just eyeballing this and you can too at home, is just put in about a spoonful of plain non fat yogurt, I’m going to leave the spoon in there. Now for the Dijon mustard. Put in as much as you want. It can be a little spicy. It has a little bite to it so I’m just going to put in one spoonful here and then the last ingredient. Only 3 ingredients total, pretty easy right? The last ingredient is balsamic vinegar, put in as much as you want. It depends how thick you want the dressing to be and we are going to stir it up and let’s see how that looks here. Actually this is good; I think this is going to work for us. This looks like a creamy based dressing and it tastes really good too. I’m just going to stir it around here and tada! Doctor Merlina’s famous dressing. Let’s pour it on some salad and see how it turned out shall we?

Doesn’t this look great though? This doesn’t look like it should be healthy, looks too creamy. Alright, let’s try it out here. (takes bite) this is really terrific, my patients love this and I’m sure you will too so, now you have no excuse not to eat salads on a regular basis.
